Another Sanctuary Hit

As will all of the book written by R. J. this is another hit. I love the sanctuary series. Face Value continues the series with and unbelievable character with brains and brawn. He is a great and lethal protector. If you love the whole strong man protecting and defending mate you will love this book and this series. Praise for R.J. Scott another great well written addition to the series. Please keep them coming. I recomend all of R.J's books you will not be disappointed.

Good But Needed More

I injoyed both of the main characters, getting to know their different backgrounds was nice and enlightening. Although it had a good plot line I felt that it was missing the sexual appeal. Nothing really note worthy happened. I don't need a lot of that but it would have helped to have more than it did. So if you intrested in a plot than this is you book.

Story Review:
Face Value is another great tale by R.J. Scott and an awesome installment of the Sanctuary series.
First I want to mention that although this is the third part of a series it can be read, or listened to, as a standalone. The story connects to the first two in the series but can be fully understood without having read the others in the series.
This tale features Beckett Jamieson who learns he was born Robert Bullen and is part of a political—and criminal—family. His deceased mother leaves him clues that will help take the Bullens down. Unfortunately this gets him in trouble and puts his life in danger.
That’s when he ends up in a Sanctuary safe house being taken care of by Dr. Kayden Summers. Kayden has a habit of talking to his patients, even if their unconscious and that’s basically how their relationship starts.
I loved Kayden from the start. I thought he was hilarious and his past was interesting. It took me a little longer to connect with Beckett but by the end I loved him and enjoyed his relationship with Kayden.
This was a sweet short story with a surprise toward the end I didn’t see coming.
Narration Review:
Once more Sean Crisden did a great job with this story. He has amazing range and made each character seem special.
He’s one of the best narrators out there.
